Where to take your BME [Best Mum Ever] …

Bottomless Brunches

To kick start your mothers day why not begin with a bottomless brunch ? It sounds absolutely fabulous doesn’t it?  With this you get the best of both worlds, a delicious breakfast and a quick dibble dabble to start the day. But where to go ?

NEW STREET GRILL : Treat mum to somthing classy without breaking the bank, for £15 you can get an never ending supplpy of our favourite drinky poo’s,  PROSECCO !! You can join them from the weekend between 11am-4pm and enjoy 2 or 3 courses for £20 or £25 (prosecco is an additional £15). There very British menu offers you everything from a full english to a very alternative baked cod and poached egg, its delish trust us.
Sounds like the perfect start to any mother day. Board games, papers and free flowing prosecco. What more could a mother want?!

Afternoon Tea
What about a traditional treat to show our Mum’s how much we love them. Afternoon tea as cute and quaint as it is, it does have a BIG positves, enough cakes and adorable mini sandwiches to leave you popping at the seams.

If you fancy killing two birds with one stone by treating mum to a luxury afternoon tea and afternoon of arts and culture wondering around the Saatchi Gallery, treat mum to tea sit a the  GALLERY MESS in Chelsea [ right at the top of the Kings Road so have a Made in Chelsea day, LOVE IT! ]  Afternoon tea served 2.30-6pm daily; £9.50 per head or £17 for two. Here you can enjoy your delightful tea with a view of duke of York square and some shot glasses of Pimm’s jelly topped with chopped strawberries, cucumber and mint, they seem worth a try.

If your looking to go more central why not try the super exclusive DEAN STREET TOWNHOUSE, where you will be brushing shoulders with London’s finest. Located in the hustle and bustle of Soho with still enough tea, scones and mini sarnies to staisfy.

If your after somthing super traditional without the pricetag of The Ritz try The Woolsey in Piccadilly. The best thing about treating Mum to afternoon tea here, the Woosley does Champange afternoon tea. So if you need your sparkles you know where to go.

“Go green Mum”
If your mum has a love for nature and its beauty then KEW GARDENS is the place for you. Hopefully this years mothering sunday will have the sun shining so you can enjoy some  fresh Spring air. Kew gardens is celebrating the start of Spring in colourful carnival style. A series of carefully designed displays take over the glasshouse exploring the science of the mysterious plants with a focus on Brazilian hybrids. Interested ? Then make sure you get there as March 6th is the last day !! Opening at an early 9.30am and closes at 5.30pm, so luckily theres still time for a prosecco at the end of the day.

Champagne and chocolate masterclass

What are two of any woman favourite things… Chocolate and champagne. At BARTS located in South Kensington you can get both !! You can treat you and your Mum and learn the art of pairing champagne and chocolate with a team of trained mixologist and a renowned chocolatier. It opens 6pm and doesn’t close till midnight so if you and your mum are wild ones it’s the place to be. Make sure you book in to experience any ladies guilty pleasure.

Exhibitions

You can’t go wrong with an exhibition, there’s something for everyone.  As we are stylists we are of course fashion enthusiats we have to say that the VOUGE 100  ‘A century of style’ is a must !! The exhibition is a lot more than just pretty pictures and models. Boris Johnson is on the wall, who doesnt love a it of Borry?! With a library filled with bound copies, slides shows presenting work from the 40’s and 90’s and a cocktail style menu that credits the 1930’s showroom it sounds like the perfect girly day out. Its location is key at THE NATIONAL GALLERY Leicester square it is a short walk away from hundreds of amazing restaurants and bars to finish your day up.

Theres an endless list off attractions and things you can do in London Town. Pop over to Buckingham palace for sneaky peak at Queny or the take to the skies on the London Eye, drink endless glasses of prosecco or wander the winding streets of Shorditch and explore the markets. Just make sure your treating your Mum. WE LOVE OUR MUMS, we don’t know what we’d do without her. Enjoy, we will be.
